Produced in association with Beck Center for the Arts This concert brings to Cleveland the great lyricist Sheldon Harnick, whose Broadway musicals include Fiddler on the Roof, She Loves Me and the Pulitzer Prize-winning Fiorello! The 87-year-old Harnick and Bill Rudman will take the stage to introduce and discuss Harnick songs chosen for the occasion by the lyricist, including “Sunrise, Sunset” and “If I Were a Rich Man,” of course. Three singers will perform them, along with a concert version of Harnick and composer Jerry Bock’s charming one-act musical “The Diary of Adam and Eve.” Hosted by Bill Rudman and Sheldon Harnick with vocalists George Roth, Jessica Cope and Jared Leal.
